To Secure your background in place simply use an Aquarium grade silcone adhesive and apply to the back of your background on the areas that protrude the most and touch the back of the enclosure. Prop in place until silcone dries.
To secure to wood, you can screw through the background into the wooden enclosure. Screw into inconspicuous areas of the rock formation. The screw head can then be camouflaged, using a dob of silicone and then matching sand sprinkled into it.
All products can be hand cut. This gives you the ability to tailor make our products to your needs.

This background measures 19.5" X 11-11.5" and less then 2" thick. These backgrounds were actually designed and molded from real rock walls to give a realistic and beautiful 3-D appearance. They add a touch of realism to create that natural biotope that can only be achieved with these backgrounds. All the materials used are non toxic, pH neutral and can be cleaned with a soft bristle brush. These backgrounds are made of very high density polyurethane industrial foam. The backgrounds are flat on the backside and can be installed on the back glass or they can be moved forward as far as you want to give room for whatever equipment you want to hide. For installation they are glued in place on the bottom and up the sides. The core of the backgrounds are colored black to hide any holes from pipes or hoses also any damage that might happen down the road after installation.

•To Secure your background in place simply use an Aquarium grade silcone adhesive and apply to the back of your background on the areas that protrude the most and touch the back of the enclosure. Prop in place until silcone dries.

Depending on your requirements, you may order any of the products with or without structure foam on the backside which makes the item rigid. These foamed backed items however, have been created predominately for reptile enclosures, and are NOT suitable for aquariums as they can give off toxins in the water, making it unsafe for the fish.
